FAQ

The Babcia Soap Brand

At Babcia’s Soap, every bar begins with a story — one rooted in Polish heritage, cozy scents, and the timeless way our grandmothers cared for their homes and families. Each bar is handmade in Michigan, melt and pour or cold‑process artisan soap using natural oils, rich butters, and fragrances inspired by the warmth of a Polish kitchen, the freshness of a countryside garden, and the comfort of tradition.

Whether you love floral scents, herbal blends, cozy bakery notes, or simple clean bars, our soaps are made to nourish your skin and bring a little old‑world charm to your daily routine.

Find the perfect gift for someone who appreciates handmade craftsmanship with heart.

Ingredients & Safety

Are your soaps natural?

Our soaps are made with high‑quality oils, butters, and skin‑safe fragrance blends. We do make some batches from scratch but also do use some pre-made bases. Each product includes a label with an ingredient list and can also be found on our website.

Are your products safe for sensitive skin?

Many customers with sensitive skin enjoy our products. However, everyone’s skin is different, so we recommend patch‑testing new products before full use.

What kind of fragrance oils do you use?

We use high‑quality, skin‑safe fragrance oils and essential oils sourced from reputable suppliers.

Do you use colorants, micas, or botanicals?

Yes — we use cosmetic‑grade micas or liquid colorant, natural clays, and botanicals to add color and texture. All are safe for skin use.

Product Use & Care

How long does a bar of soap last?

Typically 3–4 weeks with daily use. Keeping your soap dry between uses helps it last much longer.

How should I store my soap to make it last longer?

Use a draining soap dish and keep the bar out of standing water. This helps it stay firm and last longer.

Can your whipped scrubs be used daily?

Most people use them 2–3 times per week. They’re gentle but effective, leaving skin soft and smooth.

How long does processing and shipping take?

Orders typically ship within 1–3 business days. You’ll receive tracking information once your order is on its way.
